What are Bach Flower Remedies?

Bach Flower Remedies are extracts from flowers and plants. Their founder Dr. Edward Bach was a medical researcher and bacteriologist in the 1930's. He believed that his patients were unable to heal unless their emotional issues were addressed. He believed in simplicity, and succeeded in helping many of his patients in a natural way with his complete system of healing using Bach Flower Remedies.

How do the Bach Flower Remedies work?

The Bach Flower Remedies address the emotional balance of the client. Many doctors believe these days that negative emotions of human nature can block the patient reaching his or her full healing potential.

Bach Flower Remedies act on balancing the basic negative emotions such as fear, hopelessness, resentment, jealousy, lack of confidence, and so on. There are 38 Flower Remedies individually combined to meet all emotional upsets.

The first consultation lasts about an hour, during which we will find out together what remedies are helpful for the client's present situation. It is about very basic feelings, like how you are feeling today, and if there is anything in your life you would like to change, etc.

I prepare my clients treatment bottle which usually lasts about 3 weeks. After the 3 weeks it is usually recommended to review the clients present state. This can be done on the phone as well as during another visit. Negative emotions have usually built up over a longer period of time. It is therefore recommended to take the Bach Flower Remedies for longer than the first 3 weeks.
